  • Full Dentures

Whether upper or lower or both, a full denture should enhance a persons facial harmony. Usually 4–5 appointments with conversations over this period of time, Patrick will get a feel for what you want and using a range of high quality teeth and plastics, combined with trained technicians and modern processing equipment, will strive to make your new dentures not only look natural but also functional as well.

Patients are invited to bring a friend to confirm that everything looks great before the final processing.

  • Partial Dentures

    Removable Partial Dentures

A removable partial denture (RPD) is designed for the patient who still has some natural teeth but has a few gaps here and there. It may be one front tooth or multiple teeth that are missing. The RPD will fill those gaps. Matching the shade of your natural teeth with that of the RPD
and consulting with you before it’s processed to make sure you are 100% happy.

    Partial Metal Dentures

These dentures are a combination of a thin metal framework combined with aesthetic and functional teeth and gums. Made of orally compatible materials and designed to blend in with the patient’s natural teeth. Even unsightly clasps can be “tooth coloured” if need be. Patients often comment how their “taste” seems to return when they upgrade from acrylic dentures to metal dentures.

    Partial Acrylic Dentures

These dentures are cost effective and easy to add onto if another natural tooth is lost. Again designed to blend in with the natural dentition and fill those unsightly gaps. Made from high grade acrylics and usually with hand crafted stainless steel clasps. A great temporay solution if undergoing implant treatments.

  • Mouthguards

Custom sports mouthguards are a really cheap insurance policy for the athlete who engages in contact or stick sports. An impression of the patient lets the technician construct a comfortable wearable guard that fits and lets them concentrate on their game. Single layer or laminated for optimal protection. Colours and custom graphics to support your team or to psych out the opposition are all available and adds some fun to the whole process.

All mouthguards come with a care sheet and complimentary appliance case.

  • Implant Retained Overdentures

In the past some patients have never been able to wear dentures because “they flop about”. In consultation and communication between an oral surgeon (who we can refer you to) and Patrick, an implant retained overdenture can be prescribed. This is where the surgeon will place some implants into the bone and the prosthetist constructs a denture over the implants that “click in” and hold their place, giving stability to a once “floating” denture.

Careful case selection is required in implant cases and will not suit everyone.

  • Maintenance

Dentures are often neglected when it comes to maintenance. A patient will often feel that if there is no problems then nothing needs to be done. In our experience we have found that positive benefits can be made with a denture for little or no cost. Clasps on a partial can be tightened a little, or that nagging sore spot can be eased. These adjustments can be made quickly and while you wait for your convenience.

Small stains or tartar build-up can be polished or smoothed making your dentures looking fresh and feeling clean. Even if you’re not quite sure, we will be happy to have a chat about what your concern is. These types of consultations are free but the information could be valuable to you. We love just having a chat about how your teeth are going as the majority of our referrals come from word of mouth.

  • Repairs & Relines

We all have an accident now and again, dentures are no exception. A drop on the tiles, some tough food, wear and fatigue can all make a denture break. Don’t panic! It can usually be fixed easily and quickly. Try to gather any pieces that have come away supply them when you see us as it could save you some time and money. Even if you can’t find all the pieces, don’t worry, we will be able to help you. Repairs can be done in the day.

Please call 03 9894 4430 or email us promptly so we can help you get your smile back quickly.

If you find that over the years your teeth are getting loser and more food is getting caught underneath them it may be time for a reline. Relines use your current dentures but fit a new layer of acrylic to the base to fit the current shape of your mouth. So if you are happy with the appearance, the teeth themselves aren’t too worn, and it’s just the looseness that concerns you, then a reline may be a good option.

This procedure can be done in the day, we don’t want you to be without your smile.
